Art Workshop instructors for over 15 years, Theresa Goesling and Cindy Briggs lead workshops all over the world and help their students make the most of every day. Co-Owners of Make Every Day A Painting Workshops, the award winning artists have been recognized in Best of America – Plein Air Magazine, Outdoor Painter, Watercolor Artists, American Artist/Watercolor Magazine, International Juried Shows, Galleries, Museums and various publications. Each with over 30 years as professional artists, they began as art directors for national agencies in Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle and San Francisco and then directed their talents to painting and teaching. Between them they have over 25 years of teaching and demonstrating in the studio and on location. Whether teaching solo or as a team, they share their enthusiasm guiding students, as well as professional artists, through their inspirational process from design to finished painting.
Recognized for their mastery of color, Daniel Smith has honored the artists with their own palette set – The Cindy Briggs and Theresa Goesling Daniel Smith Neutral Tint Palette Set. You will often find the duo demonstrating and teaching workshops at the Daniel Smith stores in the Seattle area. Theresa Goesling is noted for her usage of vibrant colors, innovative techniques, and striking compositions to create one of a kind water-media works of art. Her work is featured in North Light Book “Splash 13, and recognized in American Watercolor Society and Northwest Watercolor Society Exhibitions. She is a Vice President Signature member of NWWS, and a member of WPW, AWS, NWS, BAM and EAFA. She has studied under top international artists, has a Graphic Design/Illustration degree from the Art Institute of Seattle and also studies Fine Arts at the University of Washington. Cindy Briggs distinctive painting style captures the spirit of her subjects in transitional color and dramatic light. She has served as a juror for regional and national shows and her watercolors have been juried into exhibitions with the National Watercolor Society, Northwest Watercolor Society, Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, and Oregon Watercolor Societies. She has earned a degree in Graphic Design at Brigham Young University, and has continued her studies with many notable artists. She is a board signature member of the NWWS, and member of NWS, AWS, WW, TWSA and WSO. She also serves on the executive board of Arts Central.
